Options, A-Levels, Diplomas, Apprenticeships, college and university – there's so much choice, it can seem a bit overwhelming. Don't worry though. Connexions Personal Advisers (PAs) can help you make sense of it all.
You can find PAs in schools and at our drop-in centres. Anything you discuss with them will be kept strictly confidential.
This section covers everything in 3 categories: Choices at 13, Choices at 16 and Choices at 17 - plus a careers library page.
Your Job Journey
Suffolk County Council has created a new page on their website for people who need support to get into a job.
You might be long-term unemployed or with physical or learning difficulties, or mental health problems. If so, work preparation programmes, Future Jobs Fund placements, work tasters, work trials and supported employment opportunities are on offer.
You might simply not have enough experience of work to feel confident about getting a job. Perhaps you are at school, university or college and want to get some practical work experience. If so, help is on offer with short-term work experience placements, internships and trainee placements.
Or you might be ready for a job that will help you develop on-the-job skills and qualifications. If so, apprenticeships and National Graduate Development Programme opportunities are on offer.
