The Buzz:
The film is set barely hours after Casino Royale finished (so I’d recommend you see that before watching this film).
Agent 007 (Daniel Craig) is seeking revenge for the death of his lover, Vesper (Eva Green), and therefore desperately trying not to make his next mission a very personal one.
After interrogating Mr White and uncovering the name of the organisation that helped Vesper betray him, Bond finds himself in Haiti, held at gunpoint by a feisty woman, Camille (Olga Kurylenko) who has her own personal vendettas.
Camille leads him to a ruthless, French businessman called Dominic Greene (Mathieu Almaric), who wants to steal all the world's water and make everyone else suffer.
We meet St. Trinian’s starlet, Gemma Arterton on the way, her character name being Strawberry Fields, but she doesn’t exactly come into the film much, disappointingly. James Bond travels around a lot in this film – Austria, Italy and to South America and the stunts are brilliant.
However, there isn’t much plot to this one, so it wasn’t one of the best James Bond’s I’ve seen, in fact, I have to say it was one of the WORST I’ve watched, but I’m sure all you die-hard 007 fans will still think it awesome.
The Rating:
I give this film 2 STARS
