Get Involved
"Getting involved" means taking the opportunity to influence decisions about things that affect your life and your community.
The Suffolk Youth & Connexions Service wants young people to help them make decisions about how their services work and the types of support available.
In practical terms, this means young people taking part in panels that provide funding to youth groups and help with the recruitment and training of staff.
There are other opportunities as well like chatting to us through our Online Consultants and during events like Takeover Day.
The Youth Citizenship section (link provided on the right of this page) provides you with all the information you need about getting involved with politics, volunteering, securing funding for community projects and how to have an influence on big issues. Plus, find out how you can share your views on topics and events that affect you.
