About Ask the 4YP expert

Our 1-1 online chat service is confidential. This means your conversation is private and won’t be shared with anyone else, unless we think you or someone you know is in danger or at risk of harm.

You'll remain anonymous during the chat, and you don’t have to give your real name if you don’t want to. We only ask for some of your details in case we are worried and need another way of contacting you.

If we do need to pass any information on because we think you’re in danger, we will always talk to you about this first so that you understand what’s happening.
