Could you nominate for the St Edmund’s Day Awards for the ‘Citizen of the Year’ and ‘Young Citizen of the Year’?

Posted by on 23 August 2018

Bury St Edmunds Town Council would like to encourage you to nominate a family member, friend, neighbour or colleague for the Town Council’s St Edmund’s Day Awards for the ‘Citizen of the Year’ and ‘Young Citizen of the Year’.

Do you know anyone who has made a significant voluntary contribution to the life of the town and deserves some recognition? You could nominate them for an award. The ‘Young Citizen of the Year’ will be awarded to an under-18 year old person who is an outstanding individual or is a long term carer or provider or has performed an outstanding service for the benefit of the community. In all cases the nominated person has to have made the contribution in the parish of Bury St Edmunds. The nominator need not be local.

You can download nomination forms below, there is also a poster and further copies are available from the Town Council offices on Angel Hill, or their website www.burystedmunds-tc.gov.uk. Completed nomination forms must be returned to the Town Council offices by Wednesday 17th October 2018.

NB: The St Edmund’s Day Awards presentation will be held during the evening of Tuesday 13th November 2018.
