Suffolk Young Trustee Programme (16-25 years)

Suffolk Young Trustee Programme is an opportunity to be involved in a unique volunteering opportunity which
will boost your leadership  and employability skills.

Trustees play an important role leading and running charities and this is an opportunity to be involved in decision making and ensure young people have a voice.

  • Janet will help match you with a charity looking for a Young Trustee
  • You will become a non-voting Young Trustee for one year
  • Boards generally meet once every six weeks
  • You will be offered training and support on the role of a Trustee
  • You can bring a skill or experience to the board – eg: social media / marketing / young person representative / events management / business & finance / secretarial / creativity

Find out more from Janet, janet.perry@communityactionsuffolk.org.uk
