Bury St Edmunds

Open Monday to Friday 10am - 4pm. Call to make an appointment on 01284 758610 and ask to speak to someone in the Early Help Team. If you live in the West but can't get to Bury, you can call this number to arrange for a youth support worker to come to you.

There is no drop-in service in this area, but you can speak to someone on 01394 605060.

MyGo youth employment centre, Fraser House, Princes Street, Ipswich, IP1 1HE.

MyGo want to ensure that all 16 - 24 years olds in Ipswich and Suffolk have the right tools and support to start or progress their careers, whether it be into employment, education or training.

They offer free 1-2-1 career coaching, personal employment support, training and accredited courses, benefit advice and job, apprenticeship and traineeship opportunities.

Services at Infobar:

Suffolk Young People's Health Project (4YP) offers a drop-in service for young people from 9am to 8pm Monday to Thursday, and 9am to 4pm on a Friday. Find it on Google maps.

4YP provide services to improve the social, emotional and physical health and wellbeing of 12-25 year olds. There are group activities, workshops and one-to-one sessions which you can go to on a drop-in basis - no need to make an appointment.

The services on offer at 4YP include information and advice around life skills, confidence, sexuality, relationships and sexual health, substance misuse, mental health, education and employment, housing, finance, and much more. For more information, take a look at 4YP's website.

Lowestoft

Get help and advice at Sam's Cafe

Sam's Cafe is a space where young people can drop-in, make use of the free wifi, and get information and advice from trained workers and young volunteers.

For help with issues around emotional health and wellbeing and sexual health, drop-in and speak to a worker.

Sam's Cafe is open for you to drop-in from 9am - 4pm Monday to Friday. To find out more about Sam's Cafe, take a look at the Discover Lowestoft website.

MyGo Lowestoft - help and advice with work and learning

Drop in Monday-Friday for free training, career advice and support for 16-24 year olds. 

MyGo Lowestoft is based in Imperial House where The Junction used to be on Bevan Street East (near McDonalds and opposite the train station).

You can get help and support around anything which might be a barrier to work or training, and they can work with you to find the right support you need.

MyGo are also C-card registered which means you can go there to get free condoms if you're aged 13-24 and register for the scheme.
