1.) Music on the Green
21st July 2012
Music on the Green in Martlesham with two stages of live music, amusements and more with the aim to raise money for East Anglia Children's Hospice (EAST). Kicks off at 10:30am and delivers live music until 10:30 pm.
2.) Abbeyfest - Bury St Edmunds music festival
20th - 22nd July 2012.
In the grounds of Abbey Gardens in Bury - Abbeyfest offers music of all tastes. Tickets are priced per performer. Follow Abbeyfest on Facebook.
3.) Suffolk Dog Day 2012
29th July 2012.
At Helmingham Hall; from 10.30am and for this year only includes the Doglympics as part of or Suffolk Dog Day 2012.

4.) The Cultural Olympiad

You may not have realised but there has been lots of free events taking place as part of the build up to the the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Thing will step up a gear from 21 June with the launch of the London 2012 Festival. Search the festival website for details of free concerts, exhibitions and outdoor "spectaculars" across the country. Download the festival guide.
