Join carnival 'eastbound' project
100 young people in Ipswich are invited to join for free a Carnival Crossroads Eastbound gig in Luton (free bus travel provided); on the 8th July 2012.
You will receive costume and dance workshops led by some of the most exciting Carnival artists and choreographers in the UK.

About Carnival Crossroads 'Eastbound'
Carnival Crossroads Eastbound is a unique community and artistic initiative taking place in 5 towns in the East of England (Luton, Cambridge, Norwich, Ipswich, Southend). Carnival Crossroads is proud to be part of the London 2012 Festival.
Carnival Crossroads offers a new artistic take on English history and story-telling to galvanize and celebrate communities during London 2012 Festival and beyond.
This project will focus on various elements of the region’s heritage aiming to create a sense of ownership for each group and town involved. It will involve community groups, schools, colleges, and regional artists as participants and workshop leaders.
