Take a look at the Financial Allowances 2023 document below, it shows your entitlements as a care leaver. Please talk to your social worker or PA if you feel you are missing out.
We support young people to set up their home, to attend university and there is also a financial incentive to go to school or college!

Get help with savings if you’re on a low income (Help to Save) Help to Save is a type of savings account. It allows certain people receiving Universal Credit to get a bonus of 50p for every £1 they save over 4 years.
“Can I get help to set up my home?”
You are entitled to a welcome pack when you take your first steps into independence. It contains all you need to get started in the kitchen as well as some other essentials too. Ask your PA.
