What is racial harassment?
Racial harassment includes jokes, name-calling, threats and even physical violence and it should not be tolerated.
Racial harassment is against the law and you don't have to put up with it.
Do you need help?
If you are being racially harassed, either physically or with words, the person doing it is probably breaking the law. Racial discrimination is against the law and it is a criminal offence to discriminate against people because of their race, colour or ethnic nationality.
What is the Suffolk Racial Harassment Initiative?
The Suffolk Racial Harassment Initiative
is there to make sure that sufferers of racial harassment know what support is available and how they can get hold of it. They are based at Suffolk County Council's Headquarters, at Endeavour House in Russell Road, Ipswich.
