About the Youth & Connexions Service

What is the Youth & Connexions Service?

The role of the Youth and Connexions Service is to help young people access advice, information and support, whenever they need it.

We're Here to Help!

Youth workers and Connexions advisers are working together to help you make the right choices in your life.

Whether you're at school or college, in training, at work or doing something different with your life, as long as you're aged 13-19 (or up to 25 if you have additional needs), a wide range of services are available for you.

These include:

  • Advice and guidance on a one-to-one or group work basis, to enable you to make choices and move forward with your life
  • The opportunity to experience new activities, have fun in the 'great outdoors', or just chill out in a safe, warm environment
  • Information and help on stuff to do with being healthy, sexual health and relationships, and how to cope with the pressure of teenage life
  • Encouragement and support to get involved, and have a say in the way that we and other organisations run services for young people
