What we're about

The Source is managed by the Engagement Hub within the Children and Young People's Services Directorate at Suffolk County Council. We are part of a much bigger service that works to support children, young people and families. The Source website is a key part of that support and it's accessible to everyone.

Read more about how this service manages information about young people and families - what we do with your information.

If you have any comments or questions, email us at

We will get back to you during office hours, Mondays to Fridays.

We make every effort to ensure the information published on The Source website is accurate. However we cannot be held liable for errors or omissions or their consequences, because we do not maintain any of the sites provided as links. Please be aware that this means that we do not assume responsibility for the contents of any websites that we link to. If you wish to know more about any of the topics covered on this website we recommend that you seek advice from the specialist organisations concerned.

What matters to us is that young people, parents and carers or anyone else, can find the information, advice or guidance that they need - when they need it.

Use the Source to find out where to access support in your local community.

Browse what we believe are the best information and advice websites for young people. And because we are part of Suffolk County Council, if we don't have the answer, we can certainly find out for you by dropping us an email.

Parents and carers can find more information and advice on The Parent Hub website

If your child has special educational needs or disabilities, take a look at the Suffolk Local Offer website which pulls together information and advice about support services for children with SEND.
