Student Life magazine
Student Life is a peer-to-peer publication which is for student, by students!
We have many topics that we cover ranging form mental, physical, and sexual health, food, beauty, fashion, tech, and many more! We have worked with students across schools, colleges and the university to create a mental health film and workshop which we deliver to schools across the county. Since this we have produced an anti-bullying film too which will be accompanied by a workshop, and similarly be delivered into schools.
There is a huge drive in our mental health work, and currently we are working on a self-harm project which will feature a film and workshop based off of real-life personal experiences (much like the mental health and anti-bulling film). One of our main motto’s here at Student Life is to encourage others to ‘speak up, speak out’; we want to normalise – and reduce the stigma attached to – mental health difficulties, including self-harm.
- If this is something you can relate to and are looking for a team and safe place to discuss, share, and relate to experiences of mental health, look no further! All you need to do to get involved is email firstname.lastname@example.org – Leanne is a former student from the University of Suffolk and the Mental Health Director at Student Life, and is a trained mental health nurse.
If you are interested in getting involved in any other aspect/topic of the publication, please email email@example.com and you will be directed to the appropriate individual.
We are a young friendly team who support everyone in all walks of life. So drop us an email and say hi!
