We are Oyster Community Press and we have funding from Suffolk County Council to teach groups of Suffolk family carers over the age of eighteen the exciting art form of printmaking for free!! Our printmaking courses start Monday 28th January or Thursday 31st January at our Tower Street Printmaking Studio in Ipswich and are delivered by friendly people in an informal setting. Printmaking is a vibrant artform that is quick to learn, fun to do and gives rewarding results, even if you have never done any art before. On the Who Cares? Project we will teach you printmaking, show you how to express yourself creatively and help you make work that will be framed and displayed in the Who Cares? Exhibition at DanceEast in April.

All you have to do to take part is have one half day a week available, either morning or afternoon to attend workshops on a weekly basis until the beginning of April and be willing to meet new people, make some friends and get a bit inky. All participants will be invited to come along to the opening night of the exhibition with their friends and family!

To find out more and to book a place contact Alison at the Tower street Print Project on 07990553662.
