We're working with local film makers and young people in Suffolk to make a series of short 'lifestyle films', based on the issues young people face in their everyday lives.
We've made 4 films, which can all be viewed on our YouTube channel.
Everybody Wake Up - focuses on issues of sexualisation and pressure from the media on young people to look or behave a certain way.
Zero Tolerance - combines the theme of bullying with taking inappropriate images. This is a real issue in secondary schools in Suffolk, and this film sends the message that we all need to have a zero tolerance approach to bullying.
Labelled - aims to tackle the labels and stereotypes that young people are sometimes given, asking you to think twice before judging someone based on their appearance.
What is Community? - asks young people around Ipswich what community means to them, and what makes a community. Check it out below!
We also have a YouTube playlist with videos about some of the issues young people face. This includes things like mental health, cyberbullying, stress, anxiety, careers, sexuality and gender, exam revision... a real range of topics with loads of information and advice! Have a look at the playlist on our YouTube channel.
